We teach a broad and balanced curriculum at our school. We follow the National Curriculum which covers a range of subject;
English, maths, science, history, geography, design and technology, art, music and PE. We follow the Cambridgeshire agreed syllabus for teaching religious education.
We follow the International Primary Curriculum which mixes the science, history, geography, design and technology and art that we teach into a project. The children often have some interesting home learning connected to this. For example this year they have made holiday brochures, models of the human body out of junk and found out about characters from history at home. Parents are often invited in at the end of a project to see what the children have been learning about and this year have seen a fashion show by Reception and the opportunity to visit Mr. Stink's shed.
We teach French from Reception and also all the children in Year Three upwards learn the recorder.
