This week in school.
The children are all enjoying starting to swim again. Well done to Reception in particular; everyone got in the pool confidently.
Thank you to the parents who attended the Year 1 phonics assessment meeting this week. If you missed it, see Miss Dickenson for information about this.
A big congratulations to Izzy, Henry, Emilio and Emily who made up the Year 5 maths challenge team. I am pleased to say that they won their heat, despite stiff competition from the other schools. The Cambridgeshire maths team commented to Mrs. Lynn and I that they were impressed with the way the team worked together strategically. They will be representing Wisbech schools in the finals of the Cambridgeshire-wide maths challenge in June. Very well done to them!
Next Week
Year 5 have been working hard illustrating some text that they have written. This will be turned in to a book in the longer term. Next week they will get the opportunity to meet an author.
