Our School Uniform

The uniform for children attending Alderman Payne Primary School is: 

School uniform:

• Grey or Black trousers or shorts
• Grey pinafore or skirt
• White polo shirt with/without school logo. 
• Royal blue jumper or cardigan with/without school badge
• Blue and white gingham dress - in summer term or hot weather
• Black sensible school shoes to be worn, no open toes.

PE uniform:

• Black shorts / jogging bottoms / leggings
• Plain t-shirt of team colour (red, green, blue, yellow)
• Plain hoodie/jumper in team colour, blue or black 
• Plimsolls or black trainers (as appropriate for indoor and outdoor PE)

Swimming kits:

• One piece swimming costume - no long shorts please
• Swimming hat
• Waterproof footwear such as crocs/flip flops
• Goggles (optional)

We advise that no jewellery is to be worn at school at any time. Children may be asked to remove any worn. Where ears have recently been pierced, small studs may be worn. However, in line with guidance, these cannot be permitted during sports, including swimming. Instead children will need to wear suitable replacements or remove their jewellery. Staff cannot be responsible for doing this, so children must be able to remove these themselves.
