Autumn Term

In the Autumn term our topic is 'Invasion'  We will learn all about the Vikings and their importance in History.  For Maths, we will begin by looking at place value and the importance of ordering and comparing numbers alongside adding and subtracting.  Within our writing, we will be writing to entertain.  As part of our Science we will cover the topic of food and the digestive system.  During the term, our class will be completing book studies and focussing on our times tables!  It would be amazing if you could support this by practising these and reading at home.

In Art and DT, the areas covered will be colour mixing and food groups.  For P.E, we will be swimming on a Monday and the other P.E day, will be a Friday.  Could you please ensure you  have your correct coloured top.

Other areas we will learn about this term are E- safety, connecting computers, teamwork and co-operation and the seasons.
