Who we are
We are a group of committed parents who are keen to support the school. We meet to share ideas with no commitment or ties. Whilst we have members with particular roles such as Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer and other regular members, every parent or carer at the school is welcome to become a member of the Parent Council and meetings are open to everyone.
What we do
We fundraise and organise events. We have 5 or 6 informal meetings a year where we discuss fundraising and review school policies.
What kind of events do we run.
Over the year, we aim to complete a range of different events that will appeal to the children and the school community.
Events during 2024-25: Non uniform days (with contributions for events), raffles, cake sales and discos.
What we are fundraising for
Having raised over £12,000 to put a roof on our swimming pool we have been fundraising for toilets for the swimming pool. We also subsidise some trips and always buy leavers' presents for Year Six before they move on to Secondary School. How the money gets spent is reviewed.
