Key Priorities 2024-2025
Our Key priorities have been identified with the consideration that good practice in place must be sustained and evolved. Where areas are already a strength of the school, we continue to look at these as a key priority.
1. Quality of Education

1.2 Pathways to Writing is embedded from Years 1 – 6 to ensure that outcomes in English are improved. KS2 writing to be in line with national expectations.
1.3 Phonics teaching and assessment ensures that early reading continues to be a high priority thus resulting in academic success across the curriculum and throughout school. Phonics data to exceed national and local data
1.4 Curriculum coverage and assessment ensures breadth, depth and quality outcomes for children
1.5 Children with SEND and those with disadvantage are supported well to make progress in line with their peers and/or individual targets
2. Behaviour and attitudes
2.1 Behaviour and attitudes around school demonstrate high expectations for self and others, as a result, all children achieve well.
3. Personal Development
3.1 Enhanced opportunities for children increase their educational and personal outcomes
3.2 Teaching of British Values is embedded within the curriculum and collective worship
4. Leadership and Management
4.1 Effective leadership and management ensure that staff and pupils are successful
4.2 Governor monitoring ensures that leaders are held to account effectively
5. Early Years Foundation Stage

Attendance
Most children attend school every day unless they are very ill, some unfortunately do not. As we are a small school this has a big impact on our overall attendance compared to national averages. Please remember;
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
