Safeguarding
Nothing is more important to us than the safety and welfare of our pupils. We take rigorous steps to ensure that children stay safe and do not come to any harm. We work closely with parents / carers and a range of professional external agencies in order to secure this.
If you have any concerns, no matter how small they may seem, about the safety or welfare of any child, please contact the school's Designated Lead for Child Protection.
In school, we teach children about safeguarding in an age appropriate way. The sequence of learning follows the following themes, repeating them as necessary
Learning about self and others
How to keep ourselves and others safe
Who to talk to if we are worried, upset or unsafe
NSPCC PANTs resource
PSHE/RSE naming and understanding body parts
Online safety
RSE Relationships education
Stay Safe Assemblies
Understanding the needs of ourselves and others
Understanding the feelings of others
